Dear Sir / Miss.

I have the Dell power edge 2500 sever with tape backup. But when I use
the following command to do backup,

"tar cv /dev/nrsa0 /usr/ports/myports"

the screen will show like this message.
"tar can't write to /dev/nrsa0: input/output error

When I use dmesg to see what happen, I saw the error below.
(sa0:ahc1:0:6:0):write(06). CBD a 1 0 0 a 0
(sa0:ahc1:0:6:0):ABORT COMMAND asc:47,0
(sa0:ahc1:0:6:0):SCSI parity error.

I try to view my boot Messages like this
sa0 at ahc1 bus 0 target 6 lun0
sa0 < ARCHIVE PHYTHON 06408-XXX 8130> removeable sequential access
SCSI-3 devices

Please kindly help me about my backup problem. Thank you very much.

Regards,
Kelvin
