Hello,

For a reason that I do not know, plu-n-play devices like PCI boards are
numbered "1" (ed1 for an NE2000 board, pcm1 for sound devices, ....)

The name of the Ethernet board does not matter (just write
ifconfig_ed1="whatever you want" in /etc/rc.conf, like you would for an ed0
board)
