Synopsis: DEFPA causes machine check with V5.0-release

State-Changed-From-To: open->closed
State-Changed-By: wilko
State-Changed-When: Thu Sep 28 21:17:44 UTC 2006
State-Changed-Why:
I dropped fpa(4) from the Alpha build a considerable time
ago. Before that gallatin@ spend considerable time trying to
figure out the FDDI stuff on Alpha, and I myself spent considerable
time trying test builds on my DEFPA config. Basically nobody appears
to be running FDDI anymore, at least no-one stepped up to test/fix
things on their hardware.

"Its dead Jim". Sorry..
