https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D259054 Bug ID: 259054 Summary: dns/coredns: Create dedicated user Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: yuri@freebsd.org Reporter: freebsd@ohreally.nl Flags: maintainer-feedback?(yuri@freebsd.org) Assignee: yuri@freebsd.org CoreDNS currently runs as root. It would be better to create a dedicated us= er and group 'coredns' to run the daemon as. Apart from the creation of the user and group, this would only require the addition of the -u flag to the /usr/sbin/daemon arguments in the rc-script. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
