Just IMHO;

I prefer the freebsd.org/ports site: it's faster to access and it shows all the
ports in a single page. Last time I tried, the Freshports' search option is
broken.

About it being outdated.. I thought it carried only  ports from the latest
release and ... well.. I don't like to complain too much ;).

A link to freshports.org on the ports webpage would be good though.
