Hi,

I have E35M1-I board and would like get working on board audio. There
are both analog and digital audio ports, according sysctl dev.pcm there

and 'sysctl hw.snd' tells

hw.snd.version: 2009061500/i386

hw.snd.maxautovchans: 16

Running 'mixer' gets

Mixer vol is currently set to 100:100
Mixer pcm is currently set to 100:100

When I try any analog audio port, there are three jacks, there is no
signal at all (blue and red, which should be probably input) or some
noise only (green). This was tested with hw.snd.default_unit set to any
of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. Also, relevant lines in dmesg:

hdacc0: <ATI R6xx HDA CODEC> at cad 0 on hdac0
hdaa0: <ATI R6xx Audio Function Group> at nid 1 on hdacc0
pcm0: <ATI R6xx Group> (HDMI)> at nid 3 on hdaa0
hdacc1: <Realtek ALC892 HDA CODEC> at cad 0 on hdac1
hdaa1: <Realtek ALC892 Audio Function Group> at nid 1 on hdacc1
pcm1: <Realtek ALC892 (Rear Analog)> at nid 20 and 24,26 on hdaa1
pcm2: <Realtek ALC892 (Front Analog)> at nid 27 and 25 on hdaa1
pcm3: <Realtek ALC892 (Rear Digital)> at nid 30 on hdaa1
pcm4: <Realtek ALC892 (Onboard Digital)> at nid 17 on hdaa1

On next reboot I will try verbose boot, so possibly full picture could
be drawn, but in between, has anybody any hint what I could try?
Anything else I should post? There is HDMI output as well, but no sound
here, too, with hw.snd.default_unit set to 0.

Regards,
Milan
