Hi! I think I have tried all possible resources except this mailing list. I have a PLI tape drive which FreeBSD identifies as WangDAT: Jan 7 15:33:04 byerly /kernel: aha0 at 0x330-0x333 irq 11 drq 5 on isa Jan 7 15:33:04 byerly /kernel: aha0 waiting for scsi devices to settle Jan 7 15:33:04 byerly /kernel: (aha0:4:0): "WangDAT Model 3200 02.2" type 1 removable SCSI 2 Jan 7 15:33:04 byerly /kernel: st0(aha0:4:0): Sequential-Access density code 0x13, 512-byte blocks, write-enabled Every time I try to do something with the drive, it gives this error: Jan 7 15:36:26 byerly /kernel: st0(aha0:4:0): timed out Jan 7 15:36:30 byerly /kernel: st0(aha0:4:0): timed out AGAIN Jan 7 15:38:10 byerly /kernel: st0(aha0:4:0): timed out Jan 7 15:38:14 byerly /kernel: st0(aha0:4:0): timed out AGAIN The drive hase a built-in termination switch which I set to ON.
