I'm a little confused by all this. Wasn't someone working on a complete
rewrite of the msdosfs? One that would be safe to use without making
double backups of your system first, and support VFAT? Did that work
go in (under my nose), and that's what you want to fix? Or are we trying
to add more potential problems to a should-be-killed-off piece of code? :-)
