Hi

I've experienced a boring problem installing a new
FreeBSD server here through our new ( yes all is new ! )
XYLAN switch.

The problem is the switch doesn't "know" the MAC address
of the server when it try to access to the external software
server and refuse to open the virtual circuit...

It seems that the install procedure do not "send" its
MAC address ( that is send some eth packets ) before
trying to NFS mount our file server.

Any of you has experienced the same ?

TIA
