But none knows why. Here's a guess: go to www.findmail.com, scroll to the bottom, and search for "STB" or "BT848". freebsd-multimedia comes up frequently. As Roger said, the person making the query probably hasn't a clue about what "freebsd" means, but "multimedia" sounds promising. Despite the annoyance of occasional random posts, I think findmail is actually a cool service since it offers free archiving, searching, and much better threading than at freebsd.org. -d > My bt848 related posts can be found via the Deja News search > engine.
