https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195279 Bug ID: 195279 Summary: New port: security/afl - American fuzzy lop, a fast instrumented fuzzer Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: Needs Triage Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: fk@fabiankeil.de Created attachment 149710 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=149710&action=edit security/afl - American fuzzy lop, a fast instrumented fuzzer American fuzzy lop is a fuzzer that employs a novel type of compile-time instrumentation and genetic algorithms to automatically discover clean, interesting test cases that trigger new internal states in the targeted binary. This substantially improves the functional coverage for the fuzzed code. WWW: http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/afl/ Thanks to: - Jan Beich who tested various earlier versions of the port and provided suggestions for improvements and patches. - Vitaly Magerya who tested an earlier version of the port and gave useful feedback. The freebsd-ports@ thread is: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-ports/2014-November/096622.html Please note that I'm intentionally not using the currently unmaintained and still optional LICENSE "framework" in my ports.
