Sigh-- you're right, you should have mentioned this before. One should not attempt to change the clock from within a virtual machine at all, only in the parent or host OS. VMs depend on the host OS to provide the timekeeping, and it is known that systems running inside a VM may experience timing glitches as a result of running inside the machine emulation. -- -Chuck
