IIRC, teh old conners were virtually impossible to mate with anything other than
a conner drive. This is because conner implemented drive detection incorrectly
in the drive firmware. Later Western Digital and Maxtor developed a workaround,
but it drove lots of us crazy in the early nineties.
It may work to make the Conner drive the master and the Fujitsu the slave. On
the other hand, it may be impossible to use these two drives together

     Hello !

I am running FreeBSD 2.2-971218-SNAP. I have installed a hard disk (rather
old Conner - 212M) and experienced problems. FreeBSD cannot properly detect it.
Take a look here:

BIOS detects the disk and it works just fine with ms-dos. Your suggestions?
(Upgrading to higher version of FreeBSD is impossible yet).
