I still use X programs instead of sticking strictly to a commandline. Frankly, I don't like staring at a bare console. Then again, I don't need all the fancy crap that KDE and GNOME throw in my face, so I use Window Maker, and for Window Maker I have 3 themes (not counting the default themes) all of which are shades of blue, grey, and black. Mouse? Hardly need one unless I'm working with GIMP or playing QuakeForge. I don't even use the menu, unless I want to change themes; I have keybindings for everything and half a dozen XTerm windows for launching apps and handling stuff like FTP, SSH, or general file management. All it really comes down to is use what you like and we'll use what we like. All this about using Windows because that's what you need on the job really isn't relevent to a "home pc use" thread, is it? Personally, I wouldn't give a damn if you were using the Microsoft Bob interface -- it's your business. As for me, when I'm at work I use what my boss pays me to use.
