Your outlook is busted; it mis-attaches mail so I can't quote you.

Try typing `?' at the Boot: prompt and check for a file named `kernel' or
`kernel.GENERIC'.  If you see a kernel.GENERIC, try typing

wd(0,a)/kernel.GENERIC 

at the Boot: prompt (assuming your FreeBSD installation is on the first
IDE disk).
