as is its microsloth cousin. i know in nt, you can adjust how much ram
sql is devouring. from what i've seen, it'll take as much as you allow
it to take. if not set at a reasonable limit, it can cripple a
system... but now that's why some of choose to run a different os when
our ms-enamoured employers can't see it.
