It seems xpm-3.4k is not installed. You can verify this by executing the
following command: pkg_info |grep xpm
I you don't get any output, you have to install the xpm port. The
easiest way to this is by using /stand/sysinstall, just like you did
when you reinstalled enlightenment and XFree86.

This won't help, because xpm isn't part of FreeBSD
