https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D228364 Bug ID: 228364 Summary: ports-mgmt/poudriere: ALLOW_MAKE_JOBS_PACKAGES trashing Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: bdrewery@FreeBSD.org Reporter: mike.d.ft402@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(bdrewery@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: bdrewery@FreeBSD.org When building huge ports with ALLOW_MAKE_JOBS_PACKAGES the total number of = make jobs exceeds specified PARALLEL_JOBS. Would it be better to let other builders finish last package, then suspend = all but one builder until that ALLOW_MAKE_JOBS port has finished? Is there a variable to control the total number of make jobs? It could be useful on systems which have memory and IO too limited to run parallel buil= ders or need to limit number of used cores. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
