The following reply was made to PR ports/116495; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Jeroen Schot <schot@A-Eskwadraat.nl> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org Cc: Nikos Ntarmos <ntarmos@ceid.upatras.gr> Subject: Re: ports/116495: [patch] Adding a banch of semi-official patches to x11-wm/dwm Date: Thu, 20 Dec 2007 13:40:32 +0100 Hello Nikos, Sorry for my not responding to this PR sooner, but I've been busy. I really like the idea of extending the dwm-port with patches. My biggest problem is the amount of work it takes to update all patches to new upstream releases. The result is that I can garEspecially since any combination of patches should work and they all operate on a single .c file. I also doubt the semi-official status of the patches on the dwm-site, it is a wiki-like site with no real moderation were every idiot (even me ;)) can put his patches on. So I agree to close this PR. But still thanks for your patch, it has given me a few ideas to perhaps do this in another way. Regards, -- Jeroen Schot
