Hi, Over the past few years, on numerous FreeBSD systems (2.2 -> 4.7) I have tried to use lrzsz in conjunction with SecureCRT (3.0 -> 3.2.1) but have *never* been able to get it to work. I always get numerous checksum errors and not 1 byte transfers properly. I have tried using Secure CommNet as well, and it does not work either. It doesn't report any errors, it just doesn't do anything. I have tried various terminal settings (VT100, VT220, Linux), to no avail. I have tried different shells (sh, bash, tcsh). Nothing seems to help. I *can*, however, use the last public domain version of rzsz, which I saved from the FreeBSD 2.x ports collection long ago. I modified it so that it does not email the author every time I use it. Unfortunately, it tends to hang at the end of each file now, for some reason, which is why I am investigating lrzsz again. Does anyone use lrzsz on FreeBSD successfully? If so, how?! Thanks. If there's any more info I can provide...
