Please don't use __progname. It is an undocumented internal library variable (for use in messages in the startup code and library). It is currently misused only in ccdconfig, cdcontrol, chio, ftp, ipfw, ldconfig, nextboot and w. Lite2 programs usually use a fixed name. Bruce
