I solved my httpd problem with your help.
And installed PHP with much trouble.

I removed that hash #, 
And I can access FTP OK, 
but I need to point the ftp to the right directory
/usr/local/www/data (I believe)
How do I do this?

ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/libexec/ftpd ftpd -l
