I don't know how much more I could check it than that! I tend to suspect that the problem is, in fact, on YOUR end! :-) thud is probably way too polluted at this stage for an accurate test; if the package doesn't install, it won't matter since you'll still have the OLD files there to chmod successfully! The ONLY way to be sure is to completely erase /usr/local and start over - trust me! Why do you think I'm submitting these bug reports?? I know that you're not likely to do that on thud! :) Jordan
