Problem solved. Apparently, Majordomo was recieving the info as being two separate lines even though I was sending it all on the same line. After a bit of trial-and-error, I managed unsubscribing. For those who are using Outlook as their mail program (by choice or lack thereof) you need to use the second formatting (i.e. with the \ to separate the lines). > -----Original Message----- > From: Gravel, Emmanuel (AZ77) [SMTP:Emmanuel.Gravel@CAS.honeywell.com] > Sent: Friday, December 04, 1998 11:15 AM > To: 'freebsd-questions@freebsd.org' > Subject: What's wrong with Majordomo??? > > I've been trying to unsub from the list, but each time I send the auth > string, it comes back saying it needs to be authenticated (i.e. not > taking the authorization for an authorization, but for an unsubscribe > request).
