RTFM! and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/doc/README.i810

poking into the readme, the things that you can turnoff seem to be pretty 
slim. dang.

but those docs are often out of date.

read the X11 manuals and see what it generically lets you turn off and 
turn them all off and see if you can make progress.


sorry that i dont have any better suggesions.

if you are feeling advetureous. you could build XF for debugging and have 
it do a backtrace when it hits the illegal opcode instruction and see if 
it tells you anything insightful....

when X worx, it rawx. when it dont, it's a gargantuan PITA to even figure 
out what is broken....
