Regarding LBA. I have an old i486 that I am going to convert from
DOS/Win95 to FreeBSD 3.3 - Release. The machine currently cannot recognize
LBA, thus unable to format correctly drives over 515MB. I got the software
from the manufacturer of the motherboard for flashing the BIOS to update it
to understand LBA, but is this necessary for FreeBSD? or is it just a DOS
problem?
