Uh, well what WAS happening, was the screen was not "redrawing" correctly,
on say, scrolling down in list of items in mutt. And looked absolutely
terrible in Emacs, esp. if I ran GNUS. But I'm a frickin' idiot...I had
tried setting cons25 on LOCAL console, but I'm actually ssh'ing to another
box, and the REMOTE machine still had it's TERM set to xterm-color. No
wonder I was having issues. Once I set both to cons25, all is fine...well,
for what I tried in my quick run-through of things I know that didn't work
before.

Backspace still doesn't work on Emacs (well, technically, it does, it brings
up help, but who wants that? :) ), but I think I know how to fix that...
Thanks for the help. Sometimes it just takes someone else to say or write
something, and a spark goes off. Or at least a glow.

review our balance sheet for cash and become familiar with
the look and feel of the object.
