Greetings,

Recently, within the last three weeks or so, somebody's committed a
change to 4-STABLE that allows my Analog Devices SoundMAX sound card to
be finally recognized! Yea! But there's still a problem:

pcm0: <Intel 82801CA (ICH3)> irq 9 at device 31.5 on pci0
pcm0: unable to map IO port space
device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6

I'm not sure why the pcm driver is unable to map IP port space.
According to Windows XP's 'winmsd', the IO ports the card uses are:

Name SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio
Manufacturer	Analog Devices, Inc.
Status OK
PNP Device ID
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2485&SUBSYS_80E7104D&REV_01\3&61AAA01&0&FD
I/O Port 0x0000F600-0x0000F6FF
I/O Port 0x0000FEC0-0x0000FEFF
IRQ Channel IRQ 9

So does this mean that I need to specify the I/O Port in the kernel
configuration file? If so, what I/O Port since two ranges are used?
0x0000F600 or 0x0000FEC0? And how would that be written, exactly? LINT
examples typically show 3-byte I/O ranges. So would that be 0xF60, or
0xF600, or am I a way off base?

ANY help is much appreciated,

Thanks,
Sean Noonan.
