If you've got to the point where the emergency holographic shell is
already running:

	Alt-F4 (go to the console with the shell)
	ifconfig ep0 down
	ifconfig ep0 up

...has been reported to unwedge the card.

(Sigh.  Oh well, i'm feeling guilty...)
