>Organization:
>Environment:
freebsd 7.0 RC1 #7, Generic kernel, I386, Marvel/yukon 88053 chipset, Msi 945G motherboard with P4 3.2 1GB ram.
>Description:
The marvell/yukon driver outputs "mskc0: uncorrectable pcie error" on address initialization. Error message shows up on startup listings using rc.conf or after using ifconfig, but it only shows up the first time, either rc.conf or command line, after system boot. After anywhere from one hour to one day msk0 stops functioning. Detected using nfs as nfs reports shares unavailable forever afterward(left overnight). Nfs being used or not seems irrelevant. The ports system is on nfs and the last time the connection froze while using csup to update ports. The system had been running several hours. As to possible load and compatibility issues I have 3 nfs shares from a freebsd 6.1 system connected via a 100Mb net. Problem was not duplicated on my wireless network using a netgear wg311t card.
