Hi Kerry,

You can browse the doc/ CVS repository (via web interface, it is at 
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/doc/) and take a look at the sgml 
files, or acess it via CVS, CVSUP, or whatever.

Details on how the sgml files, entities and stuff work, as well as 
suggestion on tools to use to produce documentation with a good 
productivity, and something else on what consistis the documents 
creation, maintainance, and the build of that many doc. formats, are 
available at http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/fdp-primer/
