Hi, I have checked every nook and cranny I could find on the subject, = however, no clue as to why bind filling the messages log file with: May 17 13:26:08 dellfwnat named[147]: zone dump for domain.com' failed, = rescheduling May 17 14:03:31 dellfwnat named[147]: fopen() of db.domain.dumptmp = failed: Permission denied ;; ANSWER SECTION: VERSION.BIND. 0S CHAOS TXT "8.3.1-REL" It is working though, but can not figure out why is it trying to dump = the db zone file? Directory permission on the conf directory: drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 Apr 27 23:58 /etc/namedb/ This is how I start it in /etc/rc.conf: named_flags=3D"-u bind -g bind -c /etc/namedb/named.conf" Any clues, hints, pointers, url deeply appreciated.
