Yep, everybody loves that feature, the only problem is when I have to
reboot into DOS (#@$& BIOS updaters), I keep smacking strange keys into
the stupid DOS terminal.  (and just wait until you get used to tab
complete).

Yep, this is perfectly normal, UNIX is a multiuser operating system, and
we actually mean it (not like WinNT and "multiple users, but one at a
time" BS).  Once you get X running (the Graphics system), you will be
logged in multiple times all the time (assuming you count xterms as
logins).
