 The only thing I would say is to check:

 http://stampede.cs.berkeley.edu/ccd/README-s.html

 and HEED the warning about creating a partition that starts at the
 beginning of a slice.. this messed me up quite a bit. a block or two
 is not that much to part with considering the gain.
