Hi,

Trying to install FreeBSD (4.4) for the first time. It appears the =
kernel configuration does not list my scsi controller (Adaptec 29160), =
either as active or inactive. I believe it should show up as dev=3Dahc =
under storage on the kernel configuration screen.

In any event, after the devices are probed no storage disks are found. =
Hence, I cannot perform the install.

Can anyone help me? Do I have to set something at boot time?=20
=20
By the way the drive connected to the controller is a Fujitsu MAJ3182MP
    Other vital statistics =20
Dell Precision 330; 1.5 Ghz; 384 MB ECC RDRAM

Thanx in advance,
Jim
