Hello everybody!

I have a strange problem launching KDE3 under Xfree86 4:

1. Installed and configured Xfree86 4 (works)
2. Installed KDE3 on FreeBSD 4.6.1
3. added "/usr/local/bin/startkde" to ~/.xinitrc

When I run "startx" I get:

giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X Server
xinit:No such process (errno 3): Server error.

Starting X first and then manually KDE3 works..

The strange thing is that a seto almost exactly (??) the same on another
machine works.

What could this be?!

Many thanks in advance for any help!
