Hi, I'm having some trouble getting sound to work correctly. Playback through the /dev/audio and /dev/dsp devices seems to work fine, but I can't seem to get anything to record. Any suggestions? For reference, I'm running with a PAS 16 (which it recognizes as a CDPC rev 0) at irq 10 drq 6, and soundblaster emulated at irq5 drq 1. Also, is there some magic way to get the /dev/sequencer support working with the PAS? It tells me that its not configured which I suspect is because I built my kernel with snd1(OPL) at the same IO address as snd3 (PAS). Any magic fix here? Lastly, my goal is to get vat up and running. A saw there was a vat_audio option, but the sources didn't come with the 2.0 CD-ROM, and the vat-audio.? files in FreeBSD-current seem to deal with a different version of the sound drivers. Do I need something here? vat seems to run fine (ie it gets packets) but it won't send audio (part of my recording problem), nor will it play it back (even if I go to the menu and select max tone... I get nothing out of the speaker). - Stefan
