there should be a softlink from /usr/sbin/sendmail ->
/var/qmail/bin/sendmail

(this is assuming you are installing from ports, which is usually the best
way to do it).

Hi,

qmail has no dependance on any sendmail files. qmail runs without any
problems on machines that have never had sendmail installed.
However, applications use /usr/sbin/sendmail to locally inject mail.
That should be a softlink to qmail's sendmail impersonator. Or you can
use mailwrapper instead.
