Subject: Xfree86 server doesn't recover after sleep

On my laptop with 2.2.7, XFree86 3.3.2, on a Trident Cyber 9397
chipset, if I sleep the compter (with zzz), or if I just close
the lid, the server never seems to recover to display the screen.

If I kill the server (I use XDM) and re-start it, everything works OK.

Is there any workaround/fix for this. I didn't see anything on the
XFree86 site, and I don't know if this is a FreeBSD or X issue.
