I am looking for a way to make the boot messages (mostly kernel messages)
from appearing on the console. I would like to log all of these messages,
but I have several co-located machines and do not want prying eyes to see
what is going on.

Also does anyone know how I can cut down the number of local (console)
terminals available?

Thanks,

Erin
