Sure it would. I had FreeBSD on a 486/100 and it worked fine. I then
got a pentium, a real old one that was marked Pentium with no speed
marked on the chip, worked great till a storm zapped it thru the
phone/power line. Yes, I now isolate the boxes I use, even this one, a
win-terminal.
