Hi! I'm running a very recent -current(13 november) and am having problems with audio. I;m running on a Gigabyte 7VM400M Mother board, the boot message about pcm is the following: pcm0: <VIA VT8235> port 0xe400-0xe4ff irq 11 at device 17.5 on pci0 pcm0: <Avance Logic ALC650 AC97 Codec> This has worked on 5.1-RELEASE(but I did not test much, upgraded to -current after a few days) and started showing problems with a -current from 10 november, with that it played audio but I had a pair of audio related crashes and anyway the output was jerky. Now it's almost non working, catting to /dev/dsp gives no output, xmms hangs on play and mplayer slows down waiting for something on the audio device producing some really horrible sound on the speakers(while disabling audio the video goes real smooth as expected). I think something got broken in the last updates. Hope someone can have a look. Thanks in andance, I'm ready to give any info and try any patches needed. -- Guido Falsi <mad@madpilot.net>
