You need to recheck that you have all necessary kernel options compiled in and enabled. When you get to this point with Star Office 5.1a, you usually have forgotten something in the kernel. Check out the posts are http://www.freebsdrocks.com for instructions on how to modify the kernel. Then make sure you have either the linux_base 5.2 or 6.1 installed correctly on your system. *=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D* *Gene Harris http://www.tetronsoftware.com* *FreeBSD Novice * *=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D* On 28 Jan 2000, Eric Jacoboni wrote: > "James A.
