I don't know of any special edition for FreeBSD/unix but since
C++/Perl apply to many platforms/OS, the following should do for you,
and they are THE bibles:

"The C++ programming language", Bjarne Stroustrup, (inventor of C++)
  Addison-Wesley

"Programming Perl", Larry Wall, Tom Christiansen & Randal L. Schwartz
  (Larry Wall -> inventor of Perl)
  O'Reilly
