Something appears to be amiss with the binary package on the website.  
I've sent a note to portsmgr@, hopefully they will point me in the 
right direction as to who I should talk to about rebuilding the binary 
package on the FTP site.

In the mean time you can either build the port yourself or fetch a copy 
of the binary package from http://people.freebsd.org/~cy/packages/screen
-3.9.11_1.tgz.
