NT was the primary master drive and FBSD was on the secondary master drive. I now have another machine and moved the FBSD to primary master and put the NT drive into it's own box. The NT drive had booteasy on it. I've edited the /etc/fstab file and changed all references to wd1 to wd0(ie. wd1s1a to wd0s1a) and now it won't boot up correctly. I've booted in "boot -s" and run "fsck -p" and it says: Can't stat /dev/wd0s1a: No such file or directory /dev/wd0s1a: CAN'T CHECK FILE SYSTEM. /dev/wd0s1a: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY What did I do wrong and how can I correct it? with much appreciation, michael morgan mmorgan@hfnweb.com ------_=_NextPart_001_01BF5EE6.33EE47EA Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META NAME=3D"Generator" CONTENT=3D"MS Exchange Server version = 5.5.2448.0"> <TITLE>boot drive help</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <BR> <P><FONT SIZE=3D2>I was running 3.4 and had a dual boot NT/FBSD = system.
