Hi all, well, I'm disapointed a bit of 4.7-RELEASE for Alpha. 4.6 was running excellent on my AS500/400, and now look at this! But maybe anybody can tell me if it's possible to solve that problem... Booting 4.7-RELEASE from CDROM or Floppy (for a clean, new install) ... ... Timecounter "alpha" frequency 399996144 Hz Waiting 15 seconds for SCSI devices to settle de0: enabling 10baseT port isp0: bus reset destroyed command for 0.4.1 isp0: bus reset destroyed command for 0.14.0 isp0: bus reset destroyed command for 0.13.0 ... (last message with other 0.XX.0's) ... isp0: bus reset destroyed command for 0.1.0 isp0: timeout initiated SCSI bus reset of bus 0 isp0: Polled Mailbox Command (0x15) Timeout (probe14:isp0:0:15:0): isp0: Watchdog timeout for handle 0x4e Ok, that's it. HD/CDROM-LED is "ON", AlphaStation hangs. My hardware didn't change at all.
