    Unfortunately, yes, the version number is on the underside of the board,
    right under the mouse/kbd ports in the corner.  The version number looks
    as if it's etched/printed on the board, whereas the revision is printed
    on the sticker attached to edge ISA slot.  Perhaps that's an indicator
    the version is less volatile than the version?

    I don't know if there's any relationship between the BIOS revision and
    the board version number.
