After PLAYING music using the gnome cd player, the xpt device came into
existence. But this didn't happen until I actually accessed the device
(whereas the pass0 and cd0 devices did exist before accessing the
device). As a result, some other programs (the gnome audio cd creator)
said they could find no CD drives on my system.
