of what? i'm asking for a simple yes or no, with perhaps some corections,

what do you mean? i'm just asking you to correct me on this: i must first
install -RELEASE (assuming i got new clean system) because -STABLE has no
binaryes, only sources, and than cvsup to -STABLE, say make world, and i'm
all set! is _this_ correct or no?

and, by the way, what is 'make release' needed for?
